About me

Hi, I’m Laura! I’m a graduate student based on the east coast of the U.S. trying to see the world, one country at a time. I use as many breaks, holidays, and vacations as possible to go abroad, in addition to seeking out opportunities when my professional and academic life can intersect with my ever-growing travel bug.

I continually seek out new places, but don’t rush through countries for the sake of having another one to check off the list. The best trips are the ones where I can linger and immerse myself in a new culture, seeing both the typical tourist sites and beyond.

I am a huge fan of airbnb. I’m a budget traveler, but the hostel world is not my thing. I’m also a meticulous trip planner. Although leaving flexibility in a trip is important, I thoroughly research my destinations to make the most of my travels. I hope to share some of what I’ve learned with you here!
